Your first day at your new position — a friendly greeting.
Students on General English courses
Please visit the school’s Main Reception Office before 9 a.m. When you get here, we’ll tell you what your first day consists of. You will also get a Welcome Pack with information about your stay at the Lake School, as well as a Study Pack to assist you in making the most of your time studying English at the Lake School.
You’ll have a written test and an interview to go over your personal study plan before joining your course. A welcome meeting will also be held during which we’ll show you around the self-study facilities and offer you a Lake School Student ID Card (please bring a photo for this). You will additionally get a unique user name and password for our online.
If you are 16 or 17 years old, we will want to see your completed Lake School Consent to Travel and Study Form. We will also request a copy of your passport if you require a visa to study in the UK.
